Delivery to mainland UK is between 3-6 weeks, but may be longer in peak season – please feel free to ask for an estimated delivery date before ordering.  Your sauna will arrive by Moffett truck, a delivery vehicle with rear mounted fork lift, so to avoid any issues regarding access please ensure that you have checked the package size and made adequate provision for the driver.

Your sauna comes ready to assemble and will need to sit on a solid level base so design your space and prepare the perfect garden location before delivery. With comprehensive and simple to follow instructions you’re good to go!

Once complete you’ll need to stain, feed and protect the exterior, Osmo is one of the market leaders and comes in a variety of colours.

You now need to choose a heat source. Whilst electric versions are widely available we only offer a wood fired heater to pair with our saunas. Electric heaters can be considered more convenient but the time taken to reach the necessary temperature is very similar to using wood. You also miss a large part of the romantic ritual that reflects the Nordic spirit of sauna bathing. The lighting of the stove, adding logs as the fire begins to roar and the evocative, sweet aroma of wood smoke as the flames glow and dance behind the glass. The hypnotic flickering of a real fire in your sauna cabin immeasurably adds to the general feeling of calmness, connection and wellbeing. You simply cannot replicate the natural yet intense heat obtained by burning quality seasoned logs with an electric source.

In order to retain the beauty and longevity of your sauna it needs to be properly maintained. Before use we recommend applying paraffin oil, a safe, non-toxic product that protects from discolouration and prevents bacteria from penetrating the wood fibres. An application once or twice a year should be sufficient depending on how often your sauna is in use. A specifically designed sauna cleaner should be used after each session to ensure that your sauna remains clean, hygienic and fresh. Always use towels where your skin touches the benches and any other wooden surfaces, by absorbing sweat and oils this small measure dramatically reduces staining and bacterial growth.
